Description: Here she is, the FABULOUS, AMAZING, TIMELESS Miss Connie Francis singing "Together", MGM label, monaural sound. Enjoy this 45rpm record on my '62 Seeburg DS160HR with the original rebuilt tube amplifier, original speakers and Pickering dual-styli magnetic cartridge! Hear the brilliant high frequencies thru the "ear" tweeters up top and the deep, solid bass thru the 12" woofers in the bottom of the cabinet... Please check out my other vids of the juke on YouTube! ENJOY!! |

| itl44 ::: Favorites such a romantic song 07-09-15 05:55:32 __________________________________________________ | |
| ItaliaBill ::: Favorites Isn't it a great song, and what a voice. I like the arrangements too... everything adds to this song. Thanks for commenting 07-09-15 23:41:35 __________________________________________________ | |
| DalrockTX ::: Favorites When you turned the lights out, I could've melted. What a gorgeous machine. Seeburg sure gave Wurlizter a run, didn't they? I wanted to see that that area in the bottom with the blue lights. 07-08-11 14:20:19 __________________________________________________ | |
| ItaliaBill ::: Favorites Thanks... I think Seeburg outdid Wurlitzer a few times, yes... Rock-Olas and Wurlitzers were unique and different. They all had their own look (more)... 07-08-11 17:19:01 __________________________________________________ | |
| ItaliaBill ::: Favorites OK now for the blue lights: at the top of the speaker grille there are 3 lenses, one over the crown and one on either side - that makes everything light up blue and also reflects off the bottom kick plate (more)... 07-08-11 17:21:33 __________________________________________________ | |
| ItaliaBill ::: Favorites BUT! There is also custom rope-lighting underneath the cabinet that you can see on the sides as well as the bottom front, it looks like two rows of tiny blue lights, is that what you mean? Bill. 07-08-11 17:22:47 __________________________________________________ | |
| DalrockTX ::: Favorites Yeah, I saw it on one of your other clips, the crown in the bottom. 07-08-11 18:21:16 __________________________________________________ | |
| ItaliaBill ::: Favorites Would you believe that crown is heavy plastic, they made 'em like that from the factory. The original finish wears off them. I redid mine by stripping it and redoing it with chrome paint then black and red with artists brushes. (more)... 07-08-11 21:56:22 __________________________________________________ | |
| ItaliaBill ::: Favorites the chrome paint catches the light from those blue lenses and lights right up. So does the speaker grille, you oughta see it in a total dark room! 07-08-11 21:57:54 __________________________________________________ | |
| ItaliaBill ::: Favorites I remember when I got this 45, my grandparents had told me (both gone now) they had courted to the song in the 20's. I like the spoken 'narrative' in this version better... the other one is more 'haunting' sounding while this one is more 'kittenish' sounding in Connie's voice. Glad that you enjoyed it! Thanks for commenting Sal!! 07-07-15 10:11:58 __________________________________________________ | |
