This is actually Soothsayer, they just recorded the solo part. As for "changing it up", he does that every time he plays the song, it's one of his setlist mainstays, he just never plays it the same way twice, search for it.

It's improvisation unfluened by Soothsayer, off the Crime Slunk Scene album. Only the first 30 seconds or so of this is similar to Soothsayer, thus the improvisation. Also, Soothsayer is a bit too slow for a live show, methinks. Maybe that's why he changed it up.
