I am opposed to abortion because a human person's right to life is more fundamental than any other right - the right to free speech, the right to own property, and any reproductive right. It has nothing to do with religion - it has to do with reason. You are saying a undifferentiated lump of cells (blastocyst) is as worthy of consideration as fully developed human capable of taking care of itself. That is absurd.
