Description: Like I've written on the title, this is my electric version of"Samurai",but as I've seen Djavan do it, I record it with a Gibson 335, the 2 mics!I couldn't be able to see really if it's an ES-335 that he used, I'm just sure it's a Gibson(in this VHS, we can see him playing, some songs that he generally plays with his usual "Mankowics", with a telecaster thinline,& I'll try to see what it gives, he recorded "Farhina" & "ohm" with it, as I can have a Telecaster thinline of 1968's sound!The ES-335 sound that I use is from a Gibson of 1961!The Variax isn't perhaps what we can call a "real guitar", but for me, it's the solution of many problems; as I play Bossas with a Godin, with the Variax I can play all the rest : Jazz, rock, soul,funk.. An awesome guitar! |
