You know, the front of that store next door, reminds me of the Alamo. You DO "Remember the Alamo", don't you. You're suspossed to.

I hope you don't plug off that empty receptacle hole. The rats and mice need this opening to get around. We should always look out for our little furry friends.

I purchased the HUD home at a big savings. The Zillow estimate for the property is $98 K. I got it for less than half that price. A home the same size on a lot behind me sold for $129K recently. The store property is about $100K I think but I have not had a definite price that includes the extra half acre. My HUD home sold for over $80K a year ago. Tennessee.

Tom, I believe you mentioned these properties are in OK (?). What's the asking price on the store/house ? Also, was there much of a savings when you bought your HUD home ?.Thanks.krly

Hi, Thanks for the comment. There actually is a small attic up there. The space was much too hot to get up there until a couple of weeks ago. I will climb up there, maybe next week to survey everything. The electrician was up there once for a look but it was too hot to work. It was over 100 for about two months here.

Why not cut a hole in the old ceiling and make a small attic. It would help provide access to the electrical too, right? Do you know why they changed zoning on the business?

Looks pretty good. I'd hold off buying that store, that acre would be nice but im not too sure about the building.
