| Kaydreein ::: Favorites 2007-08-21 22:58:34 Thanks! It's one of my favorite guns to target practice with, even though my dad always scolds me for using a gun that wasn't really made for that sort of stuff. Lol. __________________________________________________ | |
| Kaydreein ::: Favorites 2007-08-21 22:51:54 Thank ya! I had a video of a 300+ yard shot, but when I uploaded to youtube, the sound was lost. Now I can't find the original video anywhere. I guess it was more dramatic because you could see the delay between the shot being fired, and the round hitting the target. __________________________________________________ | |
| AreThereNoMoreNames ::: Favorites 2007-07-30 00:01:30 The sad thing is that the kids like that are our future, and they're completely retarded. Completely convinced that the word 'Magnum' on a caliber makes it a powerful round. __________________________________________________ | |
| swampghost ::: Favorites 2007-07-29 13:01:25 hell yes..the comments made by "Saskatooner" where just stupid.. __________________________________________________ | |
| pcsbyte ::: Favorites 2007-07-23 18:07:09 Nice shot man! At 220 yards that is one heck of a shot. Sks with iron sights. You have a nice place to shoot too. __________________________________________________ | |
| AreThereNoMoreNames ::: Favorites 2007-07-12 02:11:53 A .22 Magnum? You're serious about that? I thought you said a real gun? Wait, wouldn't an SKS, a gun that's seen combat duty, be more real than a little .22mag? __________________________________________________ | |
| RCinPAWA ::: Favorites 2007-07-08 14:16:40 A .22 magnum is a real gun? For killng antelope on the prairie? Really? Somebody's tuque is way too tight. 7.62x39 mm is a fine round. Nice shot. __________________________________________________ | |
| Kaydreein ::: Favorites 2007-06-04 22:01:00 Most of my family, including my brothers, are hunters. I've been around guns and people who hunt probably ever since I could walk. I guess with all those around me who hunt... I just never saw the need. My favorite gun to shoot with is still the .22 After unloading a whole magazine with the SKS or the .308... it's like a little cap gun. I'm also pretty fond of the 30-06 ... I guess it shows I like using the 7.62 round. :D __________________________________________________ | |
| saskatooner ::: Favorites 2007-06-04 15:24:46 ever ate wild meat. with a shot like yours you could be a very successful hunter. mmmmmmmm moose. __________________________________________________ | |
| Kaydreein ::: Favorites 2007-06-04 12:52:44 I've never really seen the point. __________________________________________________ | |
| saskatooner ::: Favorites 2007-06-04 10:59:32 and why dont you hunt? __________________________________________________ | |
| Kaydreein ::: Favorites 2007-06-03 21:56:45 I never claimed to be "happy" with a 'longer or heavier bullet'. The 7.62 is simply what I used in this video. Additionally, I don't hunt. I've never hunted, nor do I ever plan to. I've been target shooting since I was about 10 years old. Given that targets are typically stationary, the goal is still to hit them in a single shot. Lastly, I never said you spelled anything wrong. "Gofer" (slang) and "gopher" have two entirely different meanings, use them correctly - a dictionary will help. __________________________________________________ | |
| saskatooner ::: Favorites 2007-06-03 13:50:29 To pull off that shot consistently with a .22-250 or a .22 mag you would have to be good, not perfect. And why the heck would you be happy with a longer, heavier and weaker bullet. Have you ever been hunting on Canada's prairies? When an antelope can spot you from 2 miles it pays to have a gun that can shoot far. (chuckles) And finally I told you I was bias. Being prejudice has no logical answer. It also makes me wonder if you think colour and centre and spelt wrong, too. __________________________________________________ | |
| Kaydreein ::: Favorites 2007-06-01 03:32:16 A .. .22 magnum? I won't even comment on that. The SKS uses a 7.62 which is a wider and heavier round than the 7mm, with even less grain behind it than the typical 7mm. This makes the 7mm a much "faster" and more accurate round. Same for the 22-250. Making a 200-300 yard shot with a gun built to make such shots is not particularly impressive. I will outshoot you using any of your 'real' guns anytime. Now get yourself a dictionary, I think the word you're looking for is gopher. __________________________________________________ | |
