It's derived from "gibel", just like "umeret" is from "smert". But unlike "smert", which is physical death, "gibel" is also used as destruction, downfall, ruin. Moreover, if 'gibel" is used for physical death, it can never be natural; has to be an accident or something. Hope this helps. __________________________________________________ | |
