Description: This is a random bunch of pictures from Goa, India. It was under the control of the Portugues from c. 1510-1961, hence the Catholic churches. It became part of India in 1962. Today it's a beautiful place, although there are a lot of hippies. NB: It's not great. I hope to make better ones soon. This is just a test.

dangerousdan71 ::: Favorites not true, as a Goan living now in the UK, my parents and my relatives who lived in Goa and many other Goans, respected the portuguese-they treated us well, we didnt want the Indians to take over Goa, because we wanted to keep our Catholic portuguese identity, now Goa is turning into a Hindu state thanks to the Indians and soon the muslim will come too, soon we will have nothing left of our culture. 07-08-09 14:39:49 __________________________________________________
